LogoFail

We are aware of the chatter on the Internet. There is a new threat to all our computers.

It seems on any given day there is a new threat. We are watching this one and waiting on updates from Manufacturers.

This is especially for HP and HPe devices.

The new threat is called LogoFail.

When you first startup your PC, that nice HP logo you see before it goes to Windows? Some smart cookie worked out how to put Malware into that. It also applies to Lenovo and many other brands.

The Malware can be put into that part of your systems startup sequence without any mistake on your behalf.  

We are waiting on more information and at this stage, are not aware of anyone having been caught out by this.

We will keep on top of this and if any action needs to be taken, we will jump right onto it.
